What to Prepare:

A one minute contemporary monologue

The Collective One Act Festival is bringing together Pittsburgh Playwrights, Directors, and Actors to celebrate process. Through out this intensive students will dive into the process of bringing new work to life. From talks with the Playwrights, to conceptualizing a show, to rehearsal process and performance - students will be immersed in the technique of building and interpreting new work.

• Each One Act will have a 2-3 hour rehearsal slot daily (you will not be called for the entire day)

• Rehearsals / July 5th-15th

• Performances / July 16 and 17th

• All Rehearsals and Performances will take place at Carnegie Stage
